![]() ![]() What's the goal of endgame? Grind to grind? Maybe a little more incentive to keep playing after the main story is finished would be nice. Resource imbalance: I've got boatloads of granite and crystal, but never have enough power or brimstone. Is it just luck? Can I target farm it? Who knows. I'm looking for Book of Chastity and I have no idea how to farm for it. Getting more traits: wish there was a more deterministic way of getting traits for artifacts. Maybe I'm missing something with prophecies/goblet of giving/post perk point gains. I love the concept, but it gets grindy really quickly. Relics: Is the grind for these supposed to be extremely slow? Feels like my progress on these is awfully bad. Maybe you could have more objectives than the ones that are available so that each prophecy card has different objectives. As above, completing Missions is slow, so sometimes I'm just giving up the ghost on completing some lines. Prophecies: Super cool idea, but I've still never seen a Nether Boss, and finding dwarves feels a bit too RNG. (I realize this has been addressed in a recent patch, but it still feels a mite slow for me). Projects: Ugh, these get completed too slowly early on. Sorc is a lot of fun but I feel like I'm not utilizing it to its fullness, or some of its perks aren't working correctly (the debuffs per turn, specifically). Monk was a fantastic starting class and I loved it. So far I've spent most of my time on Monk and Sorcerer. The story isn't going to win game of the year, but it made me smile multiple times, and the gods are all unique. There's a good gameplay loop here, perk points feel pretty significant for a good part of the levelling process and require you to make some strategic choices. Everything is introduced at a pretty good pace. Main quest: I like the meta-ness of it all. Timeline: Makes this game give me serious Final Fantasy 10 vibes, also in a great way. The amount of available customization is beyond bonkers. I am going to do a full playthrough with using spells as my primary damage source at some point (update: I'm doing this as a sorcerer, and it's a blast). Spell choices too! Jeez, spells are insane. So yeah, keyword search of traits? :D Ooh, also can I sort by highest base stat? Speed/Atk, etc. That said, it's overwhelming in the BEST way possible. Especially as a new player, it's borderline overwhelming to try and figure out what I want to do. EG: I want to see all the monsters that impact speed, or dodge. You know what might make this easier? Being able to search keywords of monster text. It's absolutely overwhelming in both a good and a bad way. Everytime I think I've seen them all, I realize, I haven't seen anything yet. Number of monster choices, holy cow, so many monster choices. With that out of the way, I wanted to take a little time to discuss this game (about 30 hours of in game time, with a decent amount of idling), what I like, what is ok, what is weird, and what I'm looking forward to. ![]() Hi, I'm Forcepath, and a friend convinced me to pick this game up in Alpha through watching him play S3, and my own personal inability to refrain from buying things I know nothing about.
